The PARTY BOAT CARNIVAL 2026 arrives to transform the waters of Porto into a true avenue of joy, color, and freedom, where the party knows no limits and fun reigns supreme.
This carnival event takes place on February 16, lasting 2 hours, between 10:00 p.m. and midnight. Boarding takes place at the iconic Cais de Gaia, right in front of the city of Porto, providing a stunning backdrop to kick off the celebration from the very first moment.
As soon as you step aboard, the Carnival atmosphere envelops everyone on board. Creative costumes, glitter, vibrant colors, and good cheer are part of the experience from the very first minute. The boat sets sail and everyday life is left behind, giving way to a floating dance floor where the only rule is to have fun.
And to make the atmosphere even more contagious and lively, a live DJ provides the soundtrack for the night, with an infectious selection of party hits, Latin and Brazilian rhythms, and Carnival classics. Feel the perfect energy to dance, socialize, and celebrate nonstop.
As the party gets underway and the boat sails along the majestic Douro River, enjoy unique night views of Porto's historic skyline and the illuminated port wine cellars in Gaia. The route will take you under the iconic six bridges that connect the two banks. To keep up with the pace of the celebration, the event includes drinks on board, with a choice of 1 cocktail with white spirits or 2 beers or soft drinks. And if you're still thirsty, there will be plenty more drinks available at the on-board bar.
